I am a product designer based out of Berlin with a passion for designing simple solutions for meaningful problems. I want to use my experience and skills as a product designer to help people and make their lives easier.
I am a naturally curious person who always pushes to explore, investigate, and learn new things. This transfers directly into my personality as a designer. I focus on constantly improving my skills and my workflow.
My team at SAP focuses on investigating futuristic technologies such as VR, AI & more to building digital product. My role at SAP focuses on creating user experiences and user interfaces for Web & VR applications, ideating concepts for upcoming/current projects and collaborating together with developers.
At because I was the person in charge of the UI & UX of the entire platform. Before me, bcause was working together with a design agency, which did not deliver the desired outcomes. I took over the responsibility of maintaining and improving the overall UI & UX of the platform. My daily tasks consisted of ideating & designing new features, improving the user experience & user interface, working closely with the product tech team to plan new releases, and much more. Having this much responsibility, while only working 20 hours a week was a challenge, but it taught me a lot about prioritizing and helped me improve my workflow.
After 1 year at Heycar I was promoted to be the design lead for the partnership team. This meant creating & managing all design work, as well as working together in a multidisciplinary team. The partnership team was in charge of white-label implementation on partner sites, such as Spiegel, FAZ, Motor1 & many more. My responsibility was creating the entire UI/UX for the white-label integration, adjusting components to partners theme, developing new features and more. Receiving this opportunity as a working student was an amazing learning experience and has taught me many helpful skills.
My first year at Heycar I was in charge of the Design System. I collaborated together with the design team to maintain, improve and evolve Heycar's design system. This meant documenting and creating components, researching & introducing new UI behaviours (such as loading animations, etc.) and much more. This responsibility taught me a lot about working & collaborating together with other designers and espacially how important a well taught-through design system is for a consistence UI.
In this job I worked closely together with the interaction design department and supported the orientation semester of our 4th generation of student. I helped out in giving course, feedback rounds and mentoring our newest student. This job thought me a lot and solidified all the skills I learned in my yet short career as a designer. It was a true pleasure working and teaching at my University.
At Uber I was part of the marketing team and was in charge of all in house content creation. This included print media, social formats, illustration, video, animation and much more. I truly learned a lot working for a big corporate company and how I can let my my creative mind run free inside the brand guidelines. Working together with such amazing people was a true pleasure and I enjoyed every second of it.
The interaction design bachelor program at CODE University focuses on how to create positive user experiences with digital products. In my studies, I had the opportunity to explore many different fields such as UI design, interactive environments, design methods, and much more. I truly learned a lot during my studies and completed my bachelor's with a grade of 1.8.
Apart from Design, I am passionate about playing beach volleyball and coaching new players, screen printing & sketching, traveling, and meeting new people. My curiosity constantly drives me to explore and experience new things.
